Family to Family Support Group

The Family to Family Support Group sponsored by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) Maryland Lower Shore is held every 3rd Tuesday at 6:30pm at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, MD - Conference Room #1. Folks who have just learned their family member or friend have mental illness and not a "behavioral problem" need answers. The NAMI support group is a place to learn and regain hope and strength so we can care for our loved ones. Mental Illness are biological based brain disorders and cannot be over come through "will power" and they are not related to a persons "character" or "intelligence. Families who have been there share their unique insights and solutions to common problems. Light refreshments served. Call Patti Weiss at

410-641-6809 or visit _www.namimdls.com_ (http://www.namimdls.com)

CHILDREN WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP

We are a non-profit organization. We are a group of families that meet once a month for the support and education of our children who are affected with Type I diabetes. Our group has helped many of the parents and children better understand everyday situations that we may encounter.

The support group meets at pools, bowling, camping locations, parks, and many more fun places for the children. We seem to always leave with a good feeling, and looking forward to the next month. (And so are our children).

Please contact us for the next scheduled meeting.

Please call any of the following, at any time:

Robyn Winterbottom 410-749-0085
